Your first aid: The Service and Public Relations Department
The department for service and public relations is the first point of contact for general questions. With a wide range of brochures, we offer you information on a wide variety of cultural events, sporting activities and general information such as BAföG and student accommodation.
Feel free to download the first digital reader which provides you with all necessary information to your studies.
The AStA’s website plays an important role, as it contains regular reports as well as an event calendar for student life.
Our online exchanges are a core element you will find current job, tutoring and housing offers for Bochum and the surrounding area. In our survey exchange you will find advertisements for surveys for studies and theses. Of course, you can use our exchanges to place your own advertisements free of charge. We are looking forward to post your offers and requests on our website. During our opening hours, you can find us in the student house (SH) in room 008.
We also provide regular information at booths on campus throught the semester.
The department for service and public relations is still responsible for the supervision of freshmen in order to support them with problems and questions and to give them an overview of the university structures.
We are still a first aid for all freshmen and older students who need advice.
