Culture

Our cultural events are as diverse as they are extraordinary. They range from poetry slams and pub quizzes to various other highlights in the KulturCafé – like the game nights – and festivals at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. One of our major goals this summer semester is to organize an open-air summer festival in cooperation with several student councils!
In addition to organizing a wide range of cultural events, we support the initiatives and student councils with their cultural ideas. We also want to promote and support local bands and DJs, authors and artists in the pursuit of their passion.

Internationalism

People from different backgrounds come together at the Ruhr University Bochum. We want to offer a contact platform and provide information about what is on offer at RUB. With our events, such as the intercultural dinner or the international week, we want to promote exchange between people with different cultural backgrounds.

Approach us!

As your contact partners, we welcome your suggestions, event ideas and concepts that you would like to implement. We can support you in a variety of ways. In addition to purely organizational planning – also in cooperation with the AstA coordination and accounting – we offer you the rental of the KulturCafé and the AusländerInnen-Zentrum (engl.: Culture Café and Foreigner’s Center) as event venues. You can also rent our music system, projector or pavilions from our logistics department. Do not hesitate to contact us. We will find a way to realize your ideas!
