Students who cannot access the digital semester ticket due to social hardship

  • Semester fee was paid in whole or in part by the AStA and do not have a mobile device on which the digital semester ticket can be accessed
  • Receiving support from other social measures of the AStA (this includes in particular the “Mensafreitische” program)

    What happens after the application?

    After the respective application has been checked, applicants will receive confirmation. After confirmation of the application, a deposit of 10 euros must be paid at the AStA secretariat. For this purpose, it is necessary to fill out and sign the agreement on the transfer of a cash deposit and submit it to the secretariat. Once the deposit has been successfully submitted, the chip card will be ordered from Bogestra. The chip card can then be collected after approx. 72 hours from the BOGESTRA head office, Universitätsstraße 58, 44789 Bochum, on presentation of a photo ID.
