Call for applications, school year 2026/27
Internship at Ntare Louisenlund School (NLS)
Opportunity: Ntare Louisenlund School is a unique international school in Rwanda that offers high quality international education in the IB system starting from 7th grade and eventually leading up to 12th (MYP2-DP2). The school is in existence since 2024 and as we are growing each year exciting new opportunities will arise. As an intern at NLS you not only have the opportunity to experience what an international boarding school at IB level looks like but can also venture into our STEM and STAR (Entrepreneurship) Programme, engage with our Outdoor Programme, Sports and gain insights into pedagogy and leadership at such an institution. This opportunity is especially tailored but not limited to students at the end of their Bachelor’s Degree and/or start of their Master’s aiming for a job in secondary education.
Duration: Interns join us in the beginning of a trimester and then stay the entirety of it, i.e. arrive End of August/Beginning of September and leave mid-December (Term I), arrive early January and leave early April (Term II) or arrive end of April and leave early July (Term III). Applicants should indicate which timeframe they envision and suggest specific dates. We do admit interns for longer stays (up to a year) but not for shorter ones.
